I have had a huge love for animals of all kinds my entire life! Growing up I always had both dogs and cats so from a young age, I always knew I wanted to pursue a career working with animals. I have been working in the dog grooming industry for 6 years now and I could not be happier with what I do! When I began mobile grooming with The Ruff Life, I knew I had found my vocation. I love being able to bond and spoil each dog one-on-one at the comfort of their own homes. Also, making pet parents satisfied too is another plus! Hi there! I’ve always loved animals for as long as I can remember.  Since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to work with our four legged friends more than anything. It’s been 7 years since I started grooming, and I couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I have two dogs, as well as a chinchilla so I 100% understand feeling comfortable with someone grooming your family member. I have become so passionate about my field, I am always learning, always growing and always putting the interest of your pup first! Hey there! I'm Charlie! I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and the love for them keeps getting stronger! Animals are one of the greatest blessings of all! I've been in the Grooming Industry for about 10 years and I'm still growing and still learning new techniques and ways to make your pup (or pups!!) more and more comfortable in our trucks! I graduated from Nassau Boces and received certification in Pet Grooming. I also have certification in Equine Science so if you have a horse, we can try to squeeze him or her into our grooming truck (no promises though😝) I groom dogs of all sizes, from the smallest to the largest. If your looking for a specific cut, just ask and I'll accommodate you! My wife Stephanie and I own 3 Shetland Sheepdogs and 2 cats! I can't wait to groom your beloved pet!

Hello! I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and have worked with them for about 13 years. I got my start in a doggy hotel, but I knew that grooming was where I could make more of a connection with all the furry friends passing through. I’ve been grooming for over 10 years and have really learned the ins and outs of the industry. I grew up with a dog, and am currently a pet parent of two (pictured above). Therefore, I understand how important it is to be able to trust someone else with your fur-baby. I’d like to think my love for animals creates a safe environment for them, and my experience allows me to do the best job when it comes to grooming your pup. I have been working in the animal care field for almost 8 years so far and I can’t imagine ever doing anything else! I attended Joseph M. Barry Nassau BOCES and received a certification as a Veterinary Assistant. I have extensive knowledge relating to basic veterinary care and although I cannot diagnose any medical issues I can identify if your pet needs veterinary care. I attended The American Academy of Pet Grooming in Manhattan and graduated early at the top of my class as a certified Pet Groomer. Additionally, I am also double certified by Petco as a Pet Stylist. I furthered my education at the Hershey Groom Expo 2018 and I groom both dogs and cats! I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and I’ve had a passion for canine companionship for as long as I can remember. My approach to grooming is to treat your fur babies as if they were my own! I personalize every pet’s experience by evaluating their needs and yours to provide the most convenient and top quality grooming. Ever since I was a kid, I was always around animals. I grew up not really knowing what I wanted to do until my little Papillon named Faye entered my life! Faye has a handful of medical conditions such as luxating patella, epilepsy, and allergies. Caring for Faye and giving her as much TLC as possible gave me the opportunity to learn so much about pups with special needs! Her condition led me to begin working at a natural pet food store where I learned a lot about pet nutrition and eventually went on to learn how to groom! Fast forward about 4 years later and here we are! I love what I do and continuously look forward to giving your little baby the same love and care as if they were my own!

Hi, Im Lauren, I’ve been an animal lover my whole life. I grew up with a chow chow and 2 cats and knew since I was 5 that I wanted to one day work with animals. Since I was 16, I’ve done dog walking, pet sitting, and worked in a boarding hotel. In high school, I attended a vet technician program and I received my certification and I recently became CPR certified for dogs. I’ve been a groomer for 3 years now and I love it! I love spending time and pampering our fuzzy friends as they deserve.

Hello, my name is Masha and I love pets and all animals! I came to America when I was 7 years old and could not speak English. But the language of dogs and cats is worldwide, and I found comfort in their familiarity.  After finishing my degree in American Sign Language, I went back to my true love.  After receiving my certificate in dog grooming, I went to work with a start-up mobile pet grooming company, and then an animal hospital on Long Island that gave me a wide variety of experiences.  I’ve always loved what I did, but when the opportunity to work for a reputable and renowned mobile grooming company arose, I jumped at the chance!  The Ruff Life is more than a job.  For me, it’s being part of The Ruff Life family, where everyone here shares my same love and passion for making every pet, and every owner happy and comfortable.

Did you know what you wanted to do when you grew up? Because I never knew, until I found grooming. I’ve worked in the pet industry for about 9 years. I was a girl who started from the bottom of the chain at a pet store and I then found the galaxy’s greatest groomer who taught me what grooming was all about. After deciding to leaving Pet Supplies Plus, I began to continue my career in a shop for about 4 years. After working at that shop for so long, I needed a change in my life.  So after I found  my adorable frenchies ,Olivia and Gracie Mae, I found the Ruff Life! Or I should say, they found me! Ive been grooming for about 6 years now, and I now know what I love to do.  That’s how you know you are where you are suppose to be that time in your life so live it to the fullest!

With over 10 years of grooming experience and 2 years working as a dog trainer, I’ve learned that every pet has a different personality, and therefore every pet should be treated as an individual and given special care.  My job is to make sure that every groomer on our team goes above and beyond all of our client’s needs and expectations. I also specialize in cat grooming for our feline friends, we work swiftly and with an extra set of hands to brush, demat, and/or shave the cat.  Although some may not too cooperative, there’s few cats whom I couldn’t help out. Some may even call me the cat whis-purr-errrrr. 😼

Hi, my name is Dara! I've been grooming dogs for about 15 years, and I can't imagine doing anything else! I love dogs, and I love what I do! I have 3 dogs of my own as well.. a Toy Poodle, a Shihtzu/Poodle mix, and a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix. I've been working and volunteering with animals since I was 12 years old, and grew up having multiple dogs, amongst many other pets. I went to school for dog grooming in 2009, then after school I worked under multiple master groomers learning many more techniques and safe handling skills.  I enjoy building a bond of trust with the dogs I groom, and I treat every dog with kindness and respect using gentle handling techniques, patience, and a calm energy. I have experience grooming many dog breeds and personalities from hyper dogs and puppies, to seniors and anxious dogs.  My specialties/favorite breeds to groom are  poodles/poodle mixes, Bichons, Pomeranians, and Shihtzus...but I love working with all dogs... and strive to make all of my doggie clients happy, comfortable, and looking  their best!

I’ve been grooming for almost 2 years now! My favorite breeds to groom are cockapoos and malteses 🐾 My favorite thing to do when I’m not grooming would be going to Taco Bell after work and binge watching George Lopez! 📺  My dream is to get into creative grooming and advance myself in my grooming career ✂️ 🎨  My favorite food is Peruvian food. I currently own a cat his name is Ramen chalupa (after my other two favorite foods🙃) he’s such a cuddle bug but he can also be a menace 🤣
